We use superior matcha from the World's finest matcha region - Uji, Japan. This region boasts the ultimate conditions for artisanal matcha cultivation. Shade-grown for 30 days, the young leaves retain their vibrant green colour and distinctively rich umami flavour. This is matcha as it should be.
We call our matcha "mighty" because we truly believe in the power of this unique green dust, or in this case we should probably call it gold dust! Matcha gives you all the nutrients from the entire tea leaf, making it a rich source of Catechins, Polyphenols, and L-Theanine - three antioxidants with huge health benefits.

Matcha comes from the Camellia sinensis plant, as does green tea. However, it is shade-grown for a period of 20 days, resulting in higher chlorophyll production and amino acid content, before whole leaves are stoneground to achieve this rich vivid green powder. Matcha is a naturally nutrient-rich source of caffeine and antioxidants, meaning it's a great tea to have first thing in the morning to invigorate you and set you up for the day.

The Japanese are renowned for perfecting the matcha cultivation process, and historically grow the world's finest matcha plantations. During the process of cultivation, the virgin tea leaves are plucked by hand from the first flush of shade-grown tea plantations, artisan-roasted and stoneground by hand to create a smooth, umami-rich flavour to be savoured.
How to brew
For the perfect cup
Traditionally matcha is consumed just with water, but it can also be enjoyed as a latte with your favourite milk too!
1. Add 1/2 tsp of Mighty Matcha into a bowl.
2. Add a few drops of 70C water and use a bamboo whisk to massage any lumps.
3. Add the remaining hot water and whisk until a frothy layer forms on top.
4. If you prefer a matcha latte, add less water in step 3 and instead top with your preferred milk, steamed or cold for a hot or iced matcha latte.
